Despite claims that it has fewer side effects and causes less pain, we believe this is mostly marketing talk. Smartlipo, like traditional liposuction, uses a small suction tube to remove fat and can be done under different types of anesthesia.

The difference is Smartlipo also uses a laser to help shape your body. In our experience, we do not find that Smartlipo has a better recovery or fewer side effects than traditional liposuction.
