One patient, three areas of treatment after GLP-1 weight loss
This patient in her 40s had significant weight loss with a GLP-1 medication. Loose skin remained on her abdomen and upper arms, and her breasts had sagging and changes in shape. Dr. Smith’s treatment plan addressed the breasts, abdomen and arms, with each procedure serving a different purpose.
Case 2a: skin-only tummy tuck
The abdominal photographs highlight her skin-only tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). This procedure addressed the loose skin of her abdomen after weight loss. The front and angled comparisons focus on the change in the abdominal skin envelope and contour.
Case 2b: extended arm lift
Her extended brachioplasty addressed excess skin of the upper arms and underarm area. The arm photographs provide front and back views of the change in upper-arm contour after skin removal and reshaping.

Case 2c: breast reduction and lift with auto-augmentation
Dr. Smith performed an inverted-T breast reduction and lift with auto-augmentation. Her overall breast volume was reduced and the nipples and areolas were moved higher. She had enough remaining breast tissue to create upper-pole fullness without an implant.
Auto-augmentation describes how her existing breast tissue was repositioned within the breast. It added fullness to the upper part of the breast while the overall breast size was reduced. The terms “reduction,” “lift” and “auto-augmentation” describe these different parts of the same breast-reshaping procedure.
