THOUGHTFUL PREPARATION
Recovery happens
in real life.
Work, home, family and the everyday things you do. Make room for recovery with a clear view of your milestones and any help you’ll need along the way.
What does this planner calculate?
It matches the daily, family and household tasks you select to the help you assign, week by week. It highlights coverage gaps and brings together general recovery references. It does not determine surgical candidacy or clear you for activity.
How much childcare help should I arrange?
Ask your surgical team about the tasks you actually do: lifting your child, crib transfers, bath time, driving and overnight care. The planner uses practice timings to schedule help only while it is needed. Being ready for desk work does not necessarily mean being ready for solo childcare.
What if I’m combining procedures?
Each procedure’s restrictions still apply, and your combined plan may take longer than the individual reference ranges. Ask your surgeon to confirm the work, lifting, exercise and positioning guidance for your exact combination.
How private is my plan?
There is no account and no automatic submission to the practice. Saving is optional and uses this browser. A shared link contains the plan in its fragment; anyone with that link can open the included details. Helper names are omitted unless you choose to include them.
Sources & recovery references
Practice timings come from Dr. Smith’s post-operative care matrix and confirmed planning rules. Other references come from NHS services, academic medical centers and surgical societies. These references are not a substitute for your surgeon’s instructions. Practice instructions were updated October 5, 2026.
