The patient’s story
This active mother in her late thirties enjoyed yoga and had been able to shape much of her body through diet and exercise. After CoolSculpting, however, she developed paradoxical adipose hyperplasia, or PAH, at the flanks. The fullness in those areas persisted despite her usual routine.
Dr. Darren Smith performed VASER-assisted liposuction with BodyTite to address the excess volume at the flanks. Her treatment focused on the localized PAH and her goal of a more defined waistline.
